I was over at Dr. Greg Boyd's website this morning and read one of his articles about the stir in his church over his refusal to follow to typical political path of so many Christian Churches today. I want to encourage you to visit Greg's site and study what he is talking about here. I think Greg has his finger on the pulse of where the Christian Church should be going. We are called to love our neighbor as ourselves, and to life in The Tree of Life. I believe those two keys to following Christ preclude us from being political activists. As Jesus himself said, "You cannot serve two masters."

Wow! It's been way too long since I have been here. I guess it's been a busy summer. Doing what, I don't know exactly. I have now launched a pod cast over on podshow.com. It is called, "The Life Abundant." That is exactly what I intend this pod cast to be about the fullness of life that God not only wants for each of us, but he has it for us. He had it in mind when he created each of us and he wants, sometimes even more than we do, for us to live in that fullness of life.

As part of his unlimited desire to bless us he has surrounded us with natural wonders. I consider great music, art and books to be some of those natural wonders, so those will be the primary focus of, "The Life Abundant."

So check it out. The first episode is up. It's short and a little less than polished, but I couldn't wait to start and I hope it will whet your appetite enough to subscribe and be with us on a regular basis.
